Kawaii Elephant, Dog and Dolphin Clay (^^,)

So... I've been practicing on clay and loving every minute of it! One thing I like is making "kawaii" things and thanks to acupofcaketv on Youtube, I'm learning it the easy way. No sweat and it still turns out cute! I can't get enough of these cute animals, sweet treats that I am planning to make more. Check out my latest creations by scrolling down. I will be opening up my etsy soon. Right now, I am just getting them all ready in my spare time so please bear with me. :)

Trend Alert 2013: Fall Fedoras

I don't know about you but I'm a sucker for hats and I like wearing it for fun and for protection purposes. Sometimes I feel like a celebrity (because a lot of them does need to cover for paparazzi LOL). And sometimes, I just feel like "meh-need-some-style-fix-pronto-hat" day. Actually, Johnny Depp can help me/us sometimes (insert sassy smile here) when we're totally clueless.

It maybe still be hot here in CA but you can never go wrong when it comes to protecting your face against Mr. Sun and the great Sta. Ana wind (hold on to your hats!). So here's a bunch of hats you can score online that are pretty stylish (according to me) throughout Fall and Winter time! Thanks to Pop Sugar Style Guide for alerting me with this trend!

Tell me in the comments below what you would wear with your Fedora hat. Me? I'm thinking preppy, that is, a white collared shirt and a tartan print skirt! (Ooops, don't have that in my closet yet, better run to the store). (^^,)

Laura Mercier Creme Lipstick in Truly Red (Photos, Swatch and Thoughts)

Since Holiday is close, I chose Laura Mercier Truly Red for that striking red appearance. Holidays aren't the only time we can wear red, but I like wearing reddish lipstick during Christmas. We can all go crazy over red and no one will care right?! Hehehe!

My aunt and I bought this at Saks Fifth Avenue. You can navigate in their own website too. I've been dying to try out Laura Mercier so here are my thoughts on my new lipstick.

You can also search other bloggers for their own review too.

I'm telling you right now, this lipstick is a must. The longevity is excellent, lasts up to 6 or hours or more. The color stays on the lips and if you don't have a problem with staining then this exactly what you wanted. The color pay off is very good, I absolutely adore the creamy texture. It's matte if you put a little bit but it has a moisture that will give a shiny effect. It's easy to apply and give's a close-to-matte finish. If you want to add more shine, just put a gloss on top. But for me, this is enough! I absolutely adore this and this is a keeper. I love red and this matches my brown skin tone!

What are your red lippies that you are planning for Holidays 2013? Let me know if you have one or two or three by commenting below! :)

Kawaii Smores & Cupcake Clay (^^,)

Kawaii Smores

Ahhh, I had so much fun making this. So easy and cute. Makes me wanna go for a round of smores consumption! Aren't they the cutest? :) I used gold for the crackers instead of light brown to make them pop out.

Kawaii Cupcake

I made the easy cupcake ever. Still practicing and trying out different techniques as I go on in this wonderful craft journey. Then I put kawaii faces to make them alive!

Polymer Chibis (Sweet Dreams and Violinist)

Sweet Dreams Chibi

I made this awesome chibi because I saw a tutorial in youtube from CnJz96. I used a cloud and put faces on the stars to make them more cuter! The cloud also serves like a base and it's easier to bake that way.  I like the overall result of it and since it's my first time to make this, I was excited because it's different.

Violinist Chibi

I have so many violinist friends so in honor, I made a sampler of my very first violinist chibi! Since I have a violin (that I left in Philippines), I then molded a rough shape out of my imagination. For the hair, I tried a different technique, a thick and curly hair that just looks like octopus tentacles. Overall, I'm very pleased! I felt a sense of accomplishment after I saw this. I'll just make the legs different next time.

I am planning to open an etsy shop to those who are interested in buying my polymer clay crafts. Jewelries and other handmade products will be posted as well. Comment below if you have a request for me to make!

Polymer Clay Charms #1 (Small Chibi girl, bears and nail polish)

Belle With A Twist chibi girl

After I made chibis, I decided to make charms just like what I saw from hundreds of polymer clay crafters on Youtube. I made a 1 1/12 inch chibi girl with yellow dress to kind of incorporate Belle's (Beauty and the Beast) outfit. I then gave it a different flair by adding red ribbons. And for the hair, I made twisted curls for a nice textured finish.

Shot In the Dark Bears

Why shot in the dark you may ask? Its because I don't know how to make a bear. I didn't watch on youtube or anything so this is the result of my imagination. I just pictured some of my stuffed toy for this. Hubby said it looks cute so I guess I passed the test. LOL!

Kawaii Nail Polish

This is my take on acupofcaketv's tutorial! I love how she makes cute things. I'm making several more and will be blogging them. But for now, let's appreciate these cute little polishes. :)

Fall Statement Necklaces from Jewelmint

I love statement necklaces. It's one of my top favorites in the accessory section. When you don't have anything to wear or repeating an outfit, just wear a statement necklace and it will be a different outfit everytime. Yay for outfit repeaters like me and Duchess Kate. :)

I'm in the statement necklace phase all year long and I'm so glad the trend didn't die down and I'm seeing new designers releasing very stylish and modern ones! So let me show you my favorites from Jewelmint's  showroom.

ELECTRIC YOUTH NECKLACE

I love the mix of blue and yellow gems altogether. This will bring a pop of color in outfits that blends with yellow. When wearing this, skip out on earrings, this alone will speak out for itself.

STREET STUNNER NECKLACE

Mixture of gems and chains might look like a riot but for me its a playful way of mixing textures to make it eclectic. This for me is great for casual outfits mixed with minimal ladylike pieces.

AQUA ODYSSEY NECKLACE

I love the mix of blue and green together. This necklace can transition easily to Winter or Summer. The sharp angles gives a modern look and eye catching personality.

AZTEC GEO NECKLACE

I like the warm colors that dance in this one and this could easily transition into Fall outfits. Very unique feature too and a tribal print that can be matched with a solid print top or dress.

NEW BLACK NECKLACE

Chains with gems really does make a good impressive statement necklace. This will work well for the gray boring sweaters for Winter or a solid print outfit. For me, I will style it with a black maxi dress, gray cardigan for instant elegance.

Fall 2013 Home Decor Trends I'm Obsessing About! (^^,)

Can you imagine an entire book on a single poster? Yup, its do-able. I'm recently drooling over this clever idea of a poster with the whole book imprinted in teeny tiny prints and it forms a silhouette of pretty much what its about. I have read most of the classic stories on these posters on Little Black Bag's new home decor section. Especially, Alice in Wonderland which pretty much sums up my whole childhood. Want to grab one or two? Head over to Little Black Bag now! :)

Ahhhh.. Fall. It's starting to get cooler now so why not a tabletop fireplace? This portable fireplace is one awesome invention. Works really well on a dinner date (as long as you are home or maybe even outside on the patio). And seriously? Maybe I could bring this wherever I go and wherever I am cold. Kidding aside, I wonder if this has the sound of wood crackling and popping. But if it doesn't, I would still love to have this. I could just stare at it all night!

This is a very elegant piece that I am obsessing about. It doesn't scream fall but it does for winter. It is priced at $250.00. A bit expensive but very stylish! Since me and my hubby are bookworms, we are starting to collect bookends for our precious books and maybe I could find one that look similar to this.
