Charge It On Experience: Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Line part I

Hello dumplings! So now you might have known my mom through her Celeteque Swag Bag prize that is purely awesome beyond words! She gladly let me test and try all of the products I'm craving for since I was the one who entered her name and stuff on thatparticular contest! I love my kikay mom! :)

While I was taking pics and admiring all of these babies, my interest leaned mostly to the hydration line Celeteque Dermoscience has to offer. Having sensitive and dry skin since birth has taken toll on me that's why I take every opportunity to save my skin every now and then.

Being a nurse, I'm especially inclined to reading ingredients before hand and I'm usually attracted to medicine looking packaged products. Sorry can't help it, science has a special place in my heart. I love their minimal packaging that show some serious science stuff inside. :)

Honestly, everything in it screams wonderful! I'm gonna review each product (except for the Makeup Remover Wipes and Exfoliating Facial Wash) one by one so keep on reading. :)

Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Facial Wash

Cleanses and moisturizes the skin. It contains NMF found in the skin that helps restore its proper moisture balance and mild cleansing agents that effectively clean without drying the skin.

The consistency is thin & watery and when spread it doesn't feel heavy at all. I was doubtful at first if it can really wash away any impurities lurking in my skin. But alas, I first tested this on my face with heavy makeup on. And you know what? It effectively removed all the guck on my face, well of course not the eye are for you need an eye makeup remover solely for that. But what I am saying is, this stuff is a wonder potion, I need this everyday in my life! Or in my case, every night before I go to sleep! ;)

Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Alcohol-free Toner

Removes stubborn dirt for normal to dry skin
and preps it for moisturizing. It contains WITCH HAZEL EXTRACT  that helps soothe the skin while removing the last traces of stubborn dirt.

This is very hydrating and removes further cosmetic guck lying beneath the folds and crannies of my face. I've always been a loyal Lancome alcohol-free toner user but this one performs just the same. With Lancome, I feel somewhat sticky afterwards but with this, I feel totally matte and hydrated. Some of the dessert-dry patches in my face disappears too. I could choose this over Lancome anyday because of the price and dupeability.

Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Hydrolized Hydrating Mist

Awakens and moisturizes the skin. It contains HYDROLYZED LIQUIDS and NMF that restore moisture to the skin and improve its elasticity and softness. WATER FROM FUJI has trace elements that rejuvenate the skin to make it feel more supple and refreshed.

Aside from the jolt that I get from spraying this onto my face, I get a lot of more than hydration in this multi-tasking mist. Even if I don't tone, which is a bad habit of course, I just spritz this on my face, use a cotton to spread it and go to sleep worry-free. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels a little more ultra soft and smooth. Who wouldn't want to wake up like that? :P

Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Facial Moisturizer

Moisturizes the skin without the greasy after-feel because this is water-based. It has TRIPLE MOISTURIZING SYSTEM that contains glycerin, Provitamin B5 and aloe vera that work deep down to provide lasting relief from skin dryness. Its  unique hydrogel formula provides the skin with optimum hydration without the greasy after-feel.

I was very much surprised by this one! I thought this was like any ordinary whitish cream that I had many times before. When I opened & squeezed it, I was shocked to see a translucent almost watery substance oozing out of the tube. At first I was doubtful as any of us would with our first time for any product but I was again wrong! It is indeed water based and very hydrating. Who needs sticky cream that will leave you feeling icky without even giving the slightest hint of hydration when you have this! This stuff rocks! :D

These babies seriously made my holy grail list of moisturizers and I recommend these to those who suffer dry and sensitive skin like I do! I also want to thank those scientists, chemists and dermatologists behind this brand! ;)

P.S. See you on the next Celeteque review!

FIRST Nail Arts

These past few weeks, I cultivated a new craze... Nail Arts! Somehow I had the delusion that I can be a great nail artist so I fussed over my old bottles (never interested before), let my very short nails grow (Nurses shouldn't have looooong nails, ugh) and used every other household items as tools (back of colored pencils, ballpens, bobby pin, name it!). I had so much fun like never before!

I use to draw, paint and be artistic on papers and now my nails scream like a blank canvass ready to be dolled up anytime!

Here are my first time ever nail arts. I'm glad my sis, mom & friends like these, hihi :)

First Newspaper Nail Art (Left Hand)

This was kind of a disaster. Well everyone's first always is but I keep on repeating the first two nails I tried on! Either they won't transfer or the paper will transfer too, lol! Finally got it around the third time. You know what they say, third time's a charm!

First Random Doodles on Pink Background - Right Hand

One night, I applied pink and got bored just by looking at such a blank pink space so I decided to doodle. I was surprised! You know why? My left hand was steady like crazy! Am I ambidextrous? Lol, I hope so!

First Shimmer Pink with Black Water Marble Nail Art - Left Hand

This was my first decent water marble nail art and I screwed up big time. Wanna know why? Because I used tap water instead of filtered water and I used my Newspaper Nail art as background instead of a clean white one! Haha, I still think its cute. My mom says so too! :D

Which one is your fave? :P

OOTD: Almost Twins!

Here am I with my little sistah wearing almost the same gray but still in the gray family and identical bags. Yup, we did it on purpose!

\
However my dress is from Merona and hers from Honey Punch. Our twin star bags were from Sienna Ricchi, a Christmas gift from our beloved Aunt Estrella.

See more photos below!

So much fun when you get to be twin-whack by your little sister!

My Room Scent! Slatkin & Co. Tropical Spice!

I'm totally loving my current room scent, Slatkin & Co. Tropical Spice. Every whiff sends me back to beloved beaches of Philippines (I have gone to) with every bit of fruity coconut goodness.

It has the blend of  cinnamon bark, spiced rum and Tahitian vanilla, uhm did I say vanilla? Oh my goodness, I love vanilla in all sorts! :)

If you feel winter-coldness in your room, this smell will take you back to those lazy summer days you've been aching for.

L.A. Colors Eye Catching Value Kit

I discovered another drugstore priced line that I will refer to as a gem. Why? You'll find why, just keep on reading!

I personally like the eyeliner because it was creamy, easy to use and I never have to concentrate very hard on applying it!

For just a fraction of a price, this kit will give you a mini eyeliner and 6 eyeshadows that are work-friendly & suitable for a lot of skin tones.

This set has the Prism eyeshadow palette and the eyeshadows are average, just giving you a subtle look.

The eye / brow pencil is perfect for smokey eyes with smudged lining at the outer corner of the eye.

So will I repurchase? Definitely! I think of buying another set of eye / brow liners. See you on the next post!

Random Nails Using Color Club White Nail Art Lacquer

So just testing out this baby with some childish squiggles and horrible dotting. :P But I think it was cute and I'm telling you guys, this is one excellent product for those nail arts you've been itching about.

Quick French Tip With Color Club :)

Need a hassle-free quick french tip? Then I recommend this bad boy. Its thin brush makes lining tips, nail arts very easy and it retails for only P175 at department stores nationwide.

Nail photos & swatches will be posted later in the next batch of blogs. :)

Kirkland Signature By Borghese

My generous aunt sent me another product line that is both old and new to my ears, Kirkland Signature by Borghese. She bought it at a local Costco and she forgot to use them so instead of letting it go to waste, she purged it all to me.

So I did a little digging with Borghese and Kirkland Signature and found out that they were a collaboration of both low and high, thanks to Product Girl's helpful review. I used some of Kirkland's hygienic products before such as shampoos, conditioner, lotion & even vitamin supplements and its my first time to delve into their cosmetic world.

Borghese has a wonderful tradition and spa heritage. Borghese skincare respects the synergy between health and nature, luxury and science. That tradition continues today with the Kirkland Signature by Borghese Collection.

Kirkland Signature by Borghese Skincare Products have been formulated with natural botanicals that moisturize and soothe. Mineral-rich ingredients nourish every inch of your skin. Experience the KS by Borghese Collection--a combination of nature and technology that is contemporary yet classic.

I'm still roadtesting them so review will be up later this week hopefully if I am not that busy. :)
