My First Shoedazzle Purchase! (^^,)

Hi guys! Holidays are (very) busy and I still have a lot more to blog nowadays. Not to mention my nursing review where it keeps me busy everyday so the chance of blogging everyday became like every 2 weeks. But don't worry chums, I'll try to schedule it like at least once a week to get rid of my backlogs and new blogs to appear. Seems like getting married slowed everything down in my life! LOL!

As all of you know, especially online shoppers and bloggers, there's a lot of monthly subscription packages out there that delivers to your house like Birchbox, Beauty Army and such. I am okay with that, but the frugal side of me doesn't want to collect a lot per month when my money could be spent somewhere else. I'm more of a one-time try mademoiselle. And I'd like to invest more in fashion and style rather than beauty stuff that turns out to be just small quantities or samples (I read reviews of them).

So, I get to tried Shoedazzle which has been making me curious the first time I laid my eyes on it. Every shoe is 39.95, except some boots which cost a little like 42.95. You can go and see for yourself. Not only that, they have pretty accessories ranging from rings to hats and scarves. And when Black Friday came this year, I get to try it. That's my frugal system! I shopped on the 60% off shoes and got me just 2 shoes. It came a little late but it was worth it. Here are the pictures!

I chose Worldly (red boots) and Ann (black pumps with gold tip). I was thrilled to see the pink box that doesn't open at the top but slides on the side. That is so much easier than the classic shoe box. Also, Anna shoe came in with a pink shoebag for proctection. All in all it only around $26 and shipping is already include. How awesome is that!

Will I purchase again? Of course I will! I am a shoe person and I love their designs there! :D

Whenever I feel lazy washing my face...

We all had those nights coming home from a busy day and just tired and wanna hit the sack. You look at the mirror and you're still wearing your long lasting makeup that turned to icky splotches. You don't wanna play with water and do long rituals so you instead look for these miracle babies for help. And they all make things easy and in a matter of minutes you find yourself in your comfortable bed.

That story happens to me a lot more than I can imagine so thanks to these towelettes they save me an awful lot of time and more sleeping, hah! Yes To Cucumber towelettes are smooth towelettes that do remove makeup and clean at the same time. Specific Beauty towelettes has textured beads on one side for exfoliating, cleansing and removing makeup. I like both and they do a good job. Still nothing beats a good facial wash, these are just alternatives.

What are your favorite cleansing towelettes? Share it in the comment section below.

Nails of the week: Lone Purple Stripe

I call this "Lone Purple Stripe" because its simple, just one line of purple on each nail which is great for minimalist like me. Sometimes, I like it as simple as this and sometimes I am just lazy (partly true with all the housework I do).

I used Orly Honeymoon Style and Orly Bubbly Bombshell! Just remember, sparkle never fails you. I love sparkly nailies so much I always make sure I buy them more than plain ones.

And I just wanted to show you guys some of the Orly polish I picked up from the bargain store for only a dollar. Great deals like this shouldn't be ignored and I promise myself I'm gonna hoard more in the future. Imagine, only a dollar! Why spend $8 more at a dept. store right? But that's just me being frugal. :)

October '12 Nails

I just have started growing my nails and having nail arts again (after all these months of adjusting and housework). So I am sticking to simple nail arts or nail polish alone. Whichever is easy! Ha! :D Some of the polishes I bought are from Wal-Mart, dollar stores and Target. Nowadays, I prefer the budgeted ones and the more affordable ones. Excuse my murdered fingers, I murdered it myself. :D

Nail Polish: WetnWild 414A - This lasted on my nails for a week now with minor chipping. I do housework so it amazing that it stuck through the days. It has won a Cosmo Girl award too so its worth a buy. Plus its only a dollar or so depending on stores! I love this very bold red color, my favorite red so far. :D

Nail Polish: Julep Viola and Julep Oscar - Honestly, with all the negative reviews I read I still think the packaging is cool and the formula ok. It dried up fast and not clumpy. Best of all, no chipping for at least 4 days. I did a glitter gradient with this one.

Nail Polish: Orly Gilded Coral - I love this color. Its a very soft and shimmery coral. Very light on nails. Perfect for anyone who doesn't like a pop of bold color. :D Nail stickers are from Kiss (available on drugstores).

Nail Polish: Essie Demure Vix - This is a very beautiful and classic color of light lavender with a lil bit of shimmer. It is very very light and it might take you up to 5 application before it becomes opaque.

Nail Polish: Forever 21 - I wish Forever 21 give names to their polishes but they don't. Their polish lasted a good old 2 days for me and I seriously would buy them again as Christmas stuffers 'cause they are affordable.

That's it for now!
